New Beginnings

 In the past years, since I got back to the country I have been trying to get my feet back on track again. Sad to say, the weight of the world suddenly fell down in my shoulders for some unknown reasons.

I tried my best to be me again but the gloomy atmosphere got the best of me. I read books on self - help, Google some names for inspiration which I thought might alter the mood swings in my head.

The "Jack of all trades, master of none" in me says, if one door closes it is not the end but a new beginning. It came to the point of riding the waves of life again for me. Like finding a new niche, bring out the social experiment to give meaning to life experiences.

I tried the field where I don't think I could excel. But, I give it a try. Looking back, a relative of ours told me before that I should take the business course. She once told me that employees come and go but employers stay. You know what I did? Just like what I usually do if I want to know some topic of interests, I browse the web. I found out that business related degrees have a lot of numbers to deal with. Since, from the start I am allergic to high exponential mind wrecking counting, so I refused to take that course.

 I end up with the degree that almost became an international demand in workforce. I wasn't happy. During those years, I found interests in minor subjects where I really exceled. However, the major subjects came along, I really struggled hard. I contemplated if this was the right one for me or am I just here because I wanted to graduate. 

Then, after a decade I now find myself in a field of business. So much to say the least of what I do now. Years now in my present career, I read some books and e-books on business managements, watched reality TV shows on buying and selling properties. So, I learned the trade. My introverted self master the guts to go out of my comfort zone once again and into the courage zone. 

I sold some condominiums here and there. I am not an technology savvy but one step at a time I learned how to navigate the social media marketing. At that time, the term digital marketing or online marketing was something new. Since I am into Facebook so much than Friendster, I assessed how to post and when to post in Facebook. 

By means of browsing the initial features of Facebook of creating Pages and Groups other than your own personal account. Items and properties which I sell online aid me in my experience on how to trade online, how to talk and explain your products to potential clients. But most importantly, you have to be the best version of yourself always when presenting to your customers. 

When the technology that is in front of you slowly evolves to meet the consumer demands, you must know how to re-invent your own business. 

The one thing that is constant in this world is change. Time sometimes knock us down in order for us to either walk or run in the cycle called life. The most important thing is we should always hold our hands close and pray. Look up for inspiration, be thankful to God that we are still here doing our mission. I oftentimes think that each one of us has a duty to play in this lifetime. Because of that we should always be eager to learn new things, discover our hidden and potential talents and skills.
